Information the game uses
We associate purchases with a hashed account identifier supplied by the hosting sign-in service. We store your chosen public name, flag message, optional business information, order details, receipt history and content reports. A first-party session cookie supports the website. Browser watchlists are stored on your device. Battles followed from a battle story are saved to your signed-in account until you unfollow them. Your headquarters and placement measurement reports are private to your account. Parting Shots are public, user-authored lines attached to settled takeovers. Current promotion edits change the placement while original purchase snapshots remain in receipt history. Unsubmitted promotion drafts, including a resized logo preview, stay in session storage in the current browser tab for up to 24 hours. Clear the draft from the preview page or close the tab to remove it. Images are uploaded only when a signed-in visitor saves their promotion or continues to checkout.
What other people can see
Names, messages, business offers and completed flag receipts are public game content when the site is publicly available. Card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout and do not pass through the game. Stripe and the hosting provider process information according to their own policies.
Retention and requests
Purchase records may need to be retained for accounting, refunds and disputes. Public content removal and account-data requests are reviewed separately from those records. Optional first-party usage measurement is off by default. If you opt in from the website footer, we record a hash of the browser cookie, event times, hill and placement identifiers, and short campaign labels. We measure sponsor clicks, hill visits, watch saves, share attempts and focused attention; timers stop when hidden, unfocused or inactive for 60 seconds. We do not store IP addresses, full referrer URLs, page query strings or user agents in the measurement table. No advertising network is installed. Native apps are not measured by this system.
Optional measurement controls
Turn measurement off or delete this browser’s saved measurement from the website footer. Browser privacy signals (GPC and Do Not Track) disable collection. Records older than 60 days are removed on the next measurement write or owner report; if the site is inactive, deletion waits until that next operation. Opting out does not delete earlier records unless you use the delete button. Clearing your browser cookie prevents matching a later deletion request to the old identifier. Purchase records are separate. Owner reporting contains aggregate browser estimates, not verified people or confirmed sales. Hosting and payment providers may keep their own operational records.
